How Virtual Lab Work Works
Yes — you can get your hormone therapy bloodwork done without leaving your state or even your home.
At True U, we offer three flexible lab options:
1. LabCorp (Insurance or Self-Pay)
You can schedule your blood draw at any nearby LabCorp location. Use your insurance or pay $99 through us.
2. Mobile Phlebotomy (Self-Pay)
Prefer to stay home? A licensed technician can draw your blood in your own space. This service is $99 + $99 for labs.
3. Walk-In Clinic (Self-Pay or Insurance)
If you prefer a local clinic, we’ll ship you the lab supplies and instructions for them to draw your blood. Same $99 fee applies for self-pay labs.
What’s Included in Labs?
We check hormone levels, liver function, and other indicators to ensure you’re safely starting or continuing hormone therapy. Lab results typically come back in 2–3 business days. Typically, your provider will review your results with you during your appointment.
