Can I See True U Clinic If I Have Medicaid?

True U Clinic is self-pay only — we don't bill Medicaid or any other insurance. But if you have Medicaid, whether you're able to self-pay for care depends on your state. Some states allow Medicaid recipients to pay out of pocket for services; others don't.

This applies to adult patients only. If you're seeking care for a young person on Medicaid, we offer pro-bono services — visit our youth page or respct.org to learn more.

Here's how it breaks down.

States Where Medicaid Recipients Cannot Self-Pay

If you have Medicaid and live in California or Colorado, we're not able to see you at this time.
